Empires of Hope Costume Ball - April 13

Each year the Tiny Empires community comes together to help Relay For Life with a Ball.  We invite you to the mystical and romantic forest.  Dance and enjoy beautiful music under a canopy of trees.

The Empires of Hope is a Costume Ball this year. Open to all. We are asking all attendees to dress as Fairies, Elves or woodland creations. Entry in to the event is donation to Relay For Life.  Your attendance can help us reach our event goal.  :) 

At this event we will also be holding a Raffle with many great prizes and a Silent Auction which will included Special TE items up for bid. Bidding will open on Saturday, April 12 at 10 am slt and close on Sunday, April 13 at 4 pm slt.

This is our third Ball with the Tiny Empires community.  This year's Ball is being sponsored by Queendom of Hirilorn and their Queen, Aabbi Rhode.

Erin68 Frog will be performing live at 1 pm slt. Her voice draws you in, her laughter and soul capture you!

With each note she sings, you'll feel the music! 

Beautiful music by DJ Jazzy Klat to start off and finish the evening.   DJ Jazzy is a regular DJ at Frank's Elite Jazz Club, Bogart's Jazz Club, Moonlight Sonata, and Enchanted Diner. He plays some of the best Jazz, Romance, Easy Listening, Pop, Oldies and County tunes.  Jazzy is a cancer survivor himself.

Bid Me Bubba - Now until April 5th!

It's Relay time and I've been asked to go up for auction again this year...BUT - This is not a date auction it's a spin on Bid me Bald....so instead of people bidding to have me go bald for the day, my challenge will be that I have to change into Bubba (see attached texture - warning it's not pretty) and wear this costume around for as many days as the amount I collect.  It's all accumulative so any amount will go toward the time that I have to spend as Bubba. Each $L5000 milestone is 1 Day as Bubba.

Relay for Life is something I'm passionate about, I would be thrilled if you took some time to come by and donate. Big Love

Shades of Hope Gala in Pictures

This year for us kicked off with our Shades of Hope Gala!  It was a fun formal event that took place over opening weekend and everyone had a fantastic time!


The 2 hour event was hosted by the lovely Marina who did a fantastic job and kept everyone talking.


DJ Jazzy Klat took to the decks to provide entertainment for everyone to swing and twirl too.  It provided a brilliant atmosphere and the flexie skirts were floating everywhere!


Fun was had by all and everyone looked wonderful in their purple attire which was the theme of the event as of course purple is the relay colour!


All in all it was great, and I am so happy that everyone had such fun in coming along and supporting such a great cause.

A huge thank you goes out to Diamond Skies Gaming who sponsored the event and let us use their sim for the event.


You guys rock!


And lets not forget to give them an even bigger thank you for giving us store space throughout relay season so we could have a team store this year!

Team Meeting Saturday 22 March 12 Noon

Hiya Team!

Saturday 22 March Leala is hosting a team meeting for us all to get a chance to brain storm event ideas and set some events in motion.  It would be great to see as many as people as possible attend, and if you have any friends or family interested in helping with Relay but don't know where to start then bring them along!  It will give them a chance to meet the team, see what we are all about and we can get them all tagged up :D

Happy 100K Saint paddy's Day!

I just got back after dinner and we hit 100K!  We are a silver team!  WOO!!!

Way to go Team!  That is the best Saint Paddy's Day gift, ever!  Wish I had some beer now to celebrate LOL

Sock Hop Success!

 First and foremost I would like to say a HUGE thank you to each and every one of you that attended the Dreamchasers (Inspired Dreamwalkers and Cure Chasers) Sock Hop!  Without you the event wouldn't of been such a success.

We had 4 hours of fun and laughs.  The kissing booth was a popular highlight of the night raising a load of donations and entertain not only those who participated, but every at the event.  Our many kissers did a fantastic job, so next time you see Trixie, Marina, Stormy, Jan, Sienna or Cally give them a huge pat on the back!

Our entertainers were on fire!  First up we had DJ Alex playing us some golden oldies that got everyone on their feet, it was a hoot!

Our first singer was next to take the stage, the lovely Ghostie Wildmist who sang lots of old favorites and got everyones hands clapping!

Keeba Tammas then took the third hour and what a wonderful performance she did!  Keeba and her Tiny Maniacs kept us all entertained with music, jokes and fun conversations!  One of her tiny crew even took a brief stint on the Kissing Booth.  Thanks Morty!

 DJ Leala then took the final hour, playing some good old Grease tunes that I am sure had everyone singing along!

You all did a great job!

The contest for best dressed also went awesomely well with lot of entries from the girls, but only 2 from the guys.

Congratulations to Ahoffman and JT who won the top prizes of 5,000L each! Wow!  That's alot of cash for dressing in a fun costume and listening to some awesome tunes!

Our runners up, Darco, Giini and Alexia also won some fantastic cash prizes.

The Kiosks were over flowing with donations and the finally tally saw us raise nearly 58,000lindens!  Yes you read right, 58,000lindens!  I am so proud of everyone who helped and took part!

So, Way To Go Cure Chasers (Captain Sienna Thor) and Inspired Walkers (Captain Leala Spire) you hosted an amazing event and I am sure everyone is looking forward to what you both give us next!
